My Work

I am a natural light family and birth photographer living in tyler tx but serving both etx and dfw areas. my photography style is moody and a bit messy, with a documentary approach. My goal is to always capture life, movement and emotion - moments that maybe you didn’t yet know you wanted in a photograph. I love the ordinary, and I think it deserves to be documented. I think your life is worthy of being documented.

Background/Experience

I have a degree in photography, not that anyone ever asks, haha. I actually started in a dark room developing my own film and printing in a wet lab. It was some of the most fun I’ve ever had. I only shoot film for personal work now but would love to one day offer it professionally. I’ve been doing photography for over ten years, which is crazy! I’ve learned a lot from so many people, but the ones I give credit most to is first my mother who always had a kodak camera in her hand, making sure she never missed a dull moment. and second my photography teacher, o. Rufus Lovett, whose influence you’ll see most in my work. And third to my friends, who have critiqued and encouraged and advised with no pay, haha. I love you all and am so thankful for your investment in me.
